Set up Voice Activation

Your voice assistant can locate your wallet, or it can tell you where it was last seen by the Chipolo app. 

Please note: Chipolo Voice Control supports the English language only, and Google Assistant is limited to certain regions.

System Requirements

  • iOS devices: running version 9.0 or newer, with built in Bluetooth 4.0
  • Android devices: running version 4.4 or newer, with built in Bluetooth 4.0

I use Google Assistant. How do I set up voice activation with my Ekster Tracker?

  1. Open the Chipolo Actions page on the Google Assistant Actions Store by searching for 'Chipolo.'
  2. Make sure you are logged in with the account you use for Google Assistant.
  3. Tap 'link.'
  4. You will be directed to the Chipolo web app, where you can sign in with your Chipolo account.
  5. After logging in, you will be presented with a screen that explains your accounts will be linked. Tap 'confirm.'

I use Amazon Alexa. How do I set up voice activation with my Ekster Tracker?

  1. Open the Alexa app.
  2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the menu.
  3. Tap 'Skills.' The Amazon Alexa store home page will open.
  4. Tap 'Enable' to start linking your account.
  5. You will be directed to the Chipolo web app, where you can sign in with your Chipolo account.

I use Siri. How do I set up voice activation with my Ekster Tracker?

  1. Go to Settings on iPhone, then go to Siri & Search.
  2. Go to 'All Shortcuts.' You'll see an option to 'Ring Ekster' under Chipolo.
  3. Tap the + and record your voice saying 'Ring my Ekster.'
  4. Activate Siri by holding down the home button.
  5. Command Siri to 'Ring my Ekster.'
