Welcome to your Ekster Finder Card for Android

Congratulations on your purchase of the Ekster Finder Card for Android.

After unboxing, please charge your Finder Card for at least 2 hours before setup. Once fully charged, you can connect it to the Google Find Hub app on your Android device.

With the Ekster Finder Card, you can locate your wallet by playing a sound or viewing its location on a map within the Google Find Hub app (Android 9.0 or newer). If your wallet is misplaced, the Google Find My Device network helps locate it using hundreds of millions of Android devices worldwide.

How to charge your Ekster Finder Card

Before first use, charge the Finder Card for a minimum of 2 hours.

  1. Attach the magnetic charger to the charging points on the Finder Card.
  2. The LED will blink to indicate charging.
  3. When fully charged and paired, the LED will stay solid until the charger is removed.

Note: If the card is fully charged but not paired, the LED will continue flashing.

How to set up your Ekster Finder Card

  1. Open the Google Find Hub app on your Android device.
  2. Press the button on the Finder Card once to wake it from sleep. A sound will confirm activation.
  3. Select Connect and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Once paired, an “Ekster Finder Card” notification will appear and the card will be visible in the app.

 If the Finder Card is not paired within 10 minutes, it will return to sleep mode. Press the button again to reactivate it. 

Setup complete. What now?

  • Ring your wallet on demand
  • View location via the worldwide Google Find My Device network
  • Up to 6 months of battery life per charge
  • Voice activation support

Voice commands:
“Hey Google, play a sound on my wallet”
“Hey Google, where’s my wallet?”

How to enable Lost Mode

  1. Open the Google Find Hub app.
  2. Go to the Items tab and select your Finder Card.
  3. Scroll to Lost Mode and tap Enable.
  4. Review the instructions and tap Continue.
  5. Enter a phone number or email address for contact.
  6. Tap Activate.

Your Finder Card is now in Lost Mode, and the Google Find My Device network will actively help locate it.

How to reset to factory settings

  1. Press the button three times quickly, then press and hold on the fourth press (up to 5 seconds).
  2. You will hear a confirmation sound.
  3. The LED will start flashing.
  4. The Finder Card returns to pairing mode and will sleep if not paired within 10 minutes.

How to disable an Ekster device (unknown device alert)

If you receive a notification about an unfamiliar Ekster device nearby, you can make it ring via the system notification. Once located, follow the steps below.

To disable the device:

  1. Locate the ON/OFF button on the top front of the device.
  2. Press the button five times within two seconds.
  3. You will hear a confirmation sound when the device is disabled.

To enable identification again:

  1. Locate the ON/OFF button.
  2. Press the button six times within two seconds.
